Synopsis
Following the death of the Great Khan, most of the Mongol army returns east, leaving one commander to continue the invasion of Europe. In war-torn Hungary, a young Hungarian monk challenges the Mongol general’s belief in conquest and obedience, sparking a profound transformation that could alter the course of history. As their unlikely bond deepens, they become entangled in a deadly struggle involving royal intrigue, Vatican politics, and a cardinal determined to seize power at any cost.
