Description
An Iranian former Muslim cleric who fled persecution for being gay confronts his buried desires through a haunting relationship with a mannequin that embodies the self he was taught to deny.
Synopsis
After escaping Iran and rebuilding his life in Australia, a former Muslim cleric struggles to reconcile faith, identity, and the trauma of persecution. Isolated and emotionally fractured, he forms an unsettling bond with a mannequin that becomes the physical manifestation of his repressed sexuality. As memories of torture, doctrine, and shame resurface, the line between reality and projection begins to blur. What unfolds is an intimate psychological journey about faith, desire, and the cost of living truthfully in a world that once demanded silence.
